Recrystallized silicon carbide boasts exceptional mechanical strength and erosion resistance. Furthermore, it boasts excellent oxidation resistance as well as low thermal expansion coefficient. RSiC can be found in many applications due to its versatile combination of properties. R-SiC typically is used in furniture for kilns and rollers for roller presses as well as shed boards and shed boards – it even makes excellent insulation materials!

RSIC is a pure SIC material with an open porosity of approx. 11 to 15 %. As a result it has in comparison to the dense SIC ceramics a lower strength, but an excellent thermal shock resistance.
The non-shrinking manufacturing process enables the production of large size Recrystallized Silicon Carbide ceramic components which are then mainly used as kiln furniture with a high load-bearing capacity.The maximum application temperature lies between 1600 and 1650 °C.

Recrystallized Silicon Carbide  beams are widely used in porcelain santary ware,alumina roller,porcelain insulator productions and a variety of high temperature firing perfomances.The sizes can be customized for RSIC beams.
