RSIC is a pure SIC material with an open porosity of approx. 11 to 15 %. As a result it has in comparison to the dense SIC ceramics a lower strength, but an excellent thermal shock resistance.
The non-shrinking manufacturing process enables the production of large size Recrystallized Silicon Carbide ceramic components which are then mainly used as kiln furniture with a high load-bearing capacity.The maximum application temperature lies between 1600 and 1650 °C

Recrystallized Silicon Carbide  beams are widely used in porcelain santary ware,alumina roller,porcelain insulator productions and a variety of high temperature firing perfomances.The sizes can be customized for RSIC beams.
